WA Government Regional Grants Scheme
The Regional Grants Scheme is an initiative of Royalties for Regions that aims to improve economic and community infrastructure and services in regional Western Australia.
The latest round of WA Government funding has made $7M available to the Midwest/Gascoyne community. The Midwest Development Commission and the Gascoyne Development Commission are administering the program, supported by the WA Department of Regional Development and Lands.
The funding is provided to assist infrastructure, services and community projects, including the provision of headworks, and to assist in the broad development of the community. This includes the establishment of services and programs that will support the development of resilient communities and contribute to regional areas being vibrant and interesting places in which to live.
